Tortola

We are headed back to St John the end of June. We want to take the ferry to Tortola. I believe it comes into Soper's Hole. Is there a nice beach with calm water nearby? Is it worth the trip? Went to Jost last year. I would appreciate any advice.

Stayed on Tortola for our 20th (12 years ago) at Long Bay Resort.
The beach there is about a half mile long .
I loved Cane Garden Bay,with its many beach bars along a crescent shaped 1/3 mile beach.
Unforunately the beaches are on the North shore-like St.John.
You will need a taxi or they do have Jeep rentals there.
I loved Tortola , but that was before the small cruise ships started stopping there.
Sebastian's has the best rum distillery on island,
great rum.. served neat. best ever after dinner drink !
