We rented from Ocean Runner last may and went to The Indians, willie t's and white bay. I would really like to go to the Baths next trip then to white bay. How far to the Baths and is it worth it? Can someone describe the Baths and is there a beach once you go through?

When you approach from the water there is a beach before you go through. I truly enjoyed the baths but I think a HUGE part of my enjoyment was having a capt take us through who knew what he was doing. No worries about getting lost or stuck or turned around. I am sure its not that complicated but when I am out of my element I just like to follow.

Here's a couple of pictures.

The Baths are definitely something you should see. I second Flip flop's point on having someone take you through. We did it on our own and it was confusing. The "path" is not marked. You can certainly follow the crowd most of the time, but there were moments when no one was around and we didn't know which way to go.

It's also difficult at spots, climbing on wet/sandy/slippery boulders, crouching below/squeezing through/stepping over boulders/climbing ladders. Wear shoes with traction, no flip flops or loose sandals. We did it barefoot and it was slippery at times. I had no idea about what to expect. I have no desire to do it again, but am glad I did it once. The beaches at the beginning and end are both gorgeous.
