Got that June trip booked!

Well, most of it. My mom, brother, his girlfriend, and possibly 2 others will be joining me at La Sirena from June 15-22. I've got my plane booked but those guys still need to do theirs (I'm coming from Denver and they're coming from Maryland). My last trip was 10 days at Concordia in 2010, so I'm pretty excited to get back. I'm actually heading down a couple days earlier, and staying a day later than the rest of the group so I can hippie out a little at Maho. If it were totally up to me, I'd be at Maho or Concordia the whole time, but some people wanted a pool and modern amenities like hair dryers...*cough*Mom*cough*...
The last little part to get is the rental car. I'll wait until people actually buy plane tickets to book that so I'll know exactly how many people will need transportation.
Anyways, just wanted to share the news. If anyone happens to be down there and they see me looking for a ride to/from Maho, pick me up! I'll buy you a beer!
Can't wait for this!

Congrats, and what great photo of the 2 Maho's, Francis, Mary Point, and Whistling Cay. That is a unique vantage point...where did you take this picture from?

Umm, that exact picture has been the wallpaper on my computer for quite awhile
I must have right clicked on it at some point when you posted it previously? So needless to say, great shot!

Great pic, I think I've asked this before, but what camera did you take it with? We've done some good ones with the under water Olympus, but many times it freaks out. My wife's fancy Nikon does a much better job of it.

Haha that's awesome! I've probably posted it a couple times. I'm glad you enjoy it!

That was taken with a Canon 5D and a 17-40mm lens. I think it's 3 or 4 photos stitched together. Any underwater shots that I posted in the past, or are on my flickr, were taken with a Canon SD1100 in an underwater case. This year I'll use the 5D again for landscapes and then my Canon S95 in a case for underwater stuff. I can actually see myself using the S95 for most of the trip. It's a great little camera.

I've got a couple galleries on my website from my last trip if anyone is interested. I know I've posted them before, but who wants to go searching around? It's Friday!
