St John Relay starts in 28 hours

STJ Relay for Life starts in about 28 hours and I am so very proud of our VIOL virtual team, the Wannabe's, and their efforts in raising over $2600! Although I would love to be there to support the event myself, I know I am suppose to be home right now to manage some family issues.
On a personal note, Steve and I just left the funeral of Papa Ralph who died earlier in the week who is a retired Lt Col of the USAF. He was such a gentleman and generous soul but he was suffering from cancer and we never even knew!! He was the only grandfather figure who my kids had since my dad died at age 39 and Steve's dad while I was pregnant with our first of cancer.
I am not telling you this story to get you to donate but it just let's you know a little bit of some of why Relay is such a passion to me. There are many other stories I have personally experienced with Relay. So if St John is a place that takes some of that pain away- please consider a small donation today through Saturday !
