10 days!

10 days until wheels up! We leave Los Angeles at midnight on the 4th and will be touching down on STT at 11:10 Sat. morning, the 5th. 
We'll wait for our friend's plane to come in, and then hopefully be on the 3:00 ferry to STJ. I'm going to call Varlack today and verify that it's running again.

WOW - 10 days. The life-time of waiting is almost over. Your going to have such a good time. If you notice a little of your drink missing from time to time – it’s just Steph’s and I ghostly spirits taking a sip from time-to-time. I expect lots of pictures to get us through until we can re-schedule. Have a great time.

It ain't easy! I've sort of got tunnel vision now - all focused on Cruz Bay! 
By the way, I posted on the Ferry thread that I called Varlack this morning and confirmed that the CA to CB ferry is running again - full schedule.

I think you have had the longest countdown that I've witnessed.....................it almost feels like I'm going with you! Hey.........no never mind

CAgirl - Reality it starting to set in when you you are making those home care, dog care, credit card calls and you look at the calender and think 7 months of planning is almost here!!!!

Yeah, it's been a lonnnng countdown, Jan, and in retrospect, I'm not sure if that' healthy, mentally! 
Tom, I love the "single digit midget" thing too! That's too funny!
Today I got in touch with my cat-sitter (my friend, Barbara), my ride to the airport (my nephew) and our car insurance company. They said to make a copy of the declarations page of our insurance and take it along for the car rental place. I think I might take 2 copies, so I still have one in-hand, just in case. That way I don't have to buy the rental car insurance.
This is going to be amazing!

Had to change my font color to match my mood...now I understand why your font is green, it's an envy thing! Hope you have just the best time ever. I always get excited when I'm traveling and the expiration date on my milk is after my departure date...
