JB at MinuteMaid Review

Wow!!! That was FUN!!
I envy you folks in Boston when JB plays Fenway. Forty-three thousand people doing "Fins" was wild!!!
My oldest son (college baseball player) wanted to get into the ballpark as soon as the gates opened. We had seats on the field and he wanted to spend as much time on the field as possible. So, my eldest and I got into the ballpark at 5:30...2 1/2 hours before the concert. So we took a few photos, walked around the park, bought some t-shirts, got something to drink, used the porta-potties in left field, payed homage to Jeff Bagwell by bowing to first base.... Everyone else joined us about 7:00.
Our seats were just about where Craig Biggio plays second base, So, my son ws calling all of his baseball buddies to brag about where he was sitting.
We went to look at all the crazies tailgating before going into the park. Everyone was very well behaved...that was a shock.
A little drunk, but well behaved.

JB at "The Juice Box"...priceless!!
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express close to the park. We checked in, got our keys, hauled our junk to the room and went to the concert. At 2:45 a.m., someone started banging loudly on our door. It was security!! I opened the door carefully (I looked through the peephole and saw there shirts). They said "we are just checking to see if someone is in this room...sorry)" At 2:45 in the FREAKING Morning??!!!
Needless to say, I was not happy.
The explanation was that we were not officially checked into the room. Someone did not put us, correctly, into the computer system. So, the room was free and apologies were given and accepted. I would not have been so understanding except for the fact that the people at the front desk were different and it wasn't their fault,
Anyway...except for that, we had a wonderful time and Jimmy was his awesome self!!!
Cypressgirl...I'm sorry you were stuck in Lubbock and didn't get to go.
I hope your wrong meds finally wore off!!
