Relay for Life St John VIOL virtual team

We have put together a Virtual team for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. It is our way of giving back to St John and showing how much we care about their locals. All proceeds stay in the local community for cancer awareness and assistance for survivors and those dealing with the every day needs as they deal with cancer.
If you are interested in being on our team and getting donations or donating yourself , please go to the following link and sign up or donate-

they can also accept checks payable to American Cancer Society and you can PM and I can give you my address and i will get them to the chairperson.

I just a bought a luminaria in memory of my Mom (she was a cancer survivor) who first visited STT on a cruise stop and told me how beautiful the islands are! Mom, my daughters, and I walked a few local Relay for Life events in Michigan before she passed.

YEAH YEAH YEAH FOR US!!!!Our team is growing!! we have fundraisers going and donations from outside the Forum and we are up to $1145.00 which is incredible for the short amount of time our team have been in around. We will alos have a Forumite there who has said she will go and walk some for us at the event !!!
Tradewinds is writing an article about the team so we may get more members/ donations!!
I am actually going to find a place here at home to walk the entire 18 hours! I have done several Relays before and it's important to me to walk as I dedicate my Relays to specific people. (my first Relay was dedicated to MR B from the Forum.) This year it is for my brother in law who is suffering with lung cancer and I need to walk for him.
I got the car stickers yesterday and will get them in the mail to those who have PM's me their addresses who have donated.

WooHooo! We're are nearly surpassing our team goal! Please feel free to help support the Wannabe's or even join our team if you'd like to!
Since I won't be on island during the event, I am taking my part as a team member to walk the beaches everyday when we are there during the end of February.

I didn't see this before the Team name is Wannabe's - your suggestion!! we have raised about $1650 so far (though the site says just under $1500 as all hasn't been applied online yet and would love for you to be on the team!!!)
Come join our team everyone - even if you can raise $100 it's a great cause and STJ is so appreciative of all of us!!
