Proud New Parents of a Three Year Old!

She is a little heavy for a three year old - 67 pounds! She only eats 3 cups of food a day and a treat before bed...she raced in Florida and then was fostered into the women's prison system in our town for four weeks before our group took her in. She doesn't like loud noises, is partial to her toys and is settling in nicely. It's been five years since we had our own and fostered for eight years, so this is a fun addition to our family. Her name is Roc A By Hannah and she is a fawn brindle greyhound. Just what the doctor ordered, another baby in the house!

So happy for you!

I am the proud Grandparent of a 3 1/2 yr. old male brindle. I love having him stay at my home when my son is away. He's such a sweet dog, as are most of them. I'm sure she's glad to have found a home with you and will give you much love in return.

wow - that is so cool! Yes, pictures please. We rescue labs and we now have three big boys who sleep on the bed and have taken over the house. We love our labs and I think any rescue dog just fills your heart with joy.

I need help with posting pics again! I only post once a year and I can never remembe. I have them upload to FinePix. I know there is a process but I am challenged. Thank you for any help!

That's beautiful! I am looking forward to seeing the pictures but I can't help because I don't post pictures very often either. I think you have to get the picture description then press img and paste the pictures address between img and (img).
