We are looking for a 3 bedroom villa in Cruz bay area. There will be 6 adults. We will be coming in June so summer prices will help to keep us on budget from 3500-5000 for week.

I have always stayed in Coral bay area so this is all new to me. My eyes are so tired from doing research so I welcome any help you can give me.

My list of favorites so far are---Allesandra, Marbelle,Romance,Cocotier,Cara Mia,La Papaya,Coco Caribe,Oceana, Villa Bijiou, Golden Dragon.

Sorry there are so many. I tried to read all the reviews I could find.

Things wanted in villa with a view, pool and air-conditioning.

Though it's not on your list, I highly recommend Aurora on Contant Point (through Catered To). It was perfect for two couples and should be fine for 3 couples. The views are spectacular, and it's within 5 minutes of Cruz Bay and all the great restaurants. PM me if you want more details. We were extremely happy with this villa.

Buffalogal,

Thanks for information I checked it out and it would of met all of our needs but it is booked some of the days we would be there.

I hope to decide in the next couple weeks. I am surprised how many are all ready booked. We plan on arriving on the 9th of June.

I am going to call to see if Allesandra is available. I do have a question for those who have stayed there. One of the rooms is a separate cottage. How did you like it compared to the rooms?

It is very nice I call it the lime room as that is the color. lots of privicy has its own little deck, a huge shower and a fridge. it was like having your own villa but being only steps away from everyone else

Thanks waterguy,

Sounds like it would be perfect for my son and daughter-in-law! I just wanted to make sure whoever got that cottage would not feel slighted.

Still need help finding a villa. Just got a call back from manager of Allesandra and it is booked the week we could go.

Anybody have recommendations of other villas from list?

I have stayed at Cara Mia and while we liked it it would not be my first choice.
The bedrooms are not very even. The master in the main house is large. The 2 other bedrooms in the 2nd building are smaller and the lower unit has no view at all.
The covered outdoor area is small with 6 people around the table and we were not very happy with the way the kitchen was stocked.

It is a nice house but I would nto stay there again.

I have been wanting to stay at Villa Bijou. It is on your list. Did you check availability? If it's available, I think you will be happy with it..

Thanks Islandgirl, This is why I love this forum. I marked it off my list.

Stchica,
I also have had villa Bijiou on my list since we walked by it last year. But I have not been inside. It is available so that makes me feel more comfortable since you recommend it. We ate by some people last year who were staying there and loved it.

Its not on your list but Jazz Villa has 3 bedrooms (4 actually - but you can avoid the outside entrance one), has a great pool, pretty nice view by STJ standards (unbelievable for anywhere else) and is very easy to get to in Chocolate Hole.

Its not the fanciest of villas - it may be a step below the ones on your list, but it is well appointed and very functional.

By not fancy, I mean no stainless steel fridge, the furniture is a little dated, etc., but for 3 couples, its a very nice villa. It has a great pool deck and the living space is wide open.

A couple of years back, we had three couples stay at Star Villa and Star View which have a pool to share between them. These villas are in the Frank Bay neighborhood and have the advantage of being walking distance to town if folks want to take off on their own.

We've stayed at a lot on your list, Alessandra being the favorite. Others we like are Jazz Villa, Sunset Beach & Argonauta. A favorite is Casa de Sonadores, with the best interior of any villa we've stayed at.
