I just booked a trip with Palm Tree Charters. I am so excited!

My husband and I are looking to do a little island and bar hopping. I'm in my early 30s and he is in his early 40s...any suggestions?

We both like off the beaten path places, as well as hot spots. Our past two vacations were to Belize and Costa Rica, so our tastes are all over the place!

Thanks everyone!

Sue will call you and they'll help plan a great day for you. No worries. You don't need to know where you want to go, just what you like to do. HAVE FUN! I can't wait - we go out with Capt. John again Feb. 16th.

There are so many great things to see and do during the day.

We do a boat trip each year. We enjoyed -

Cooper Island for lunch. I would go there again. The pace was more relaxed than White Bay and the beach is beautiful and uncrowded. It was like our own almost private island. We did Cooper for lunch and then finished the day at White Bay.

One time we cleared customs at Soper Hole. We enjoyed walking around, looking at the boats and grabbing a drink. It was a fun way to start the day.

The Baths are stunning but that requires a time commitment.

Not so much -

We didn't enjoy our visit to Little Harbor Jost Van Dyke. We ate lunch at Sydney's and it was odd and tense. We wanted to sit down and kick back. Instead they set up our food right away and ushered us into a room off to the back with no view (we came to the islands to be outside, looking at the water). Aside from one other group of four, we were the only people there so it wasn't like they were crunched for space or time.

Here is our plan for our day on the water (subject to change as soon as the rum starts to kick in)

Snorkel the Indians
Bushwackers at Pirate's on Norman Island
Cocktails and a jump at the Willy T
Frozen concoctions at Smuggler's Cove
Firewater and photo op with Foxy
Barhopping along White Bay, with an emphasis on painkillers at the Soggy Dollar.

Probably won't have time for all of that, but we won't care.

I don't think we went to Smuggler's Cove when we went out. We stopped in Tortola at a marina/shopping area. Where is Smuggler's Cove and what do you do there? Thanks.

Thank you for all of the great ideas! I had a dream last night that I was there...if only it were true!
