Is Island Blues still open? I know it is for sale.

Island Blues is closed for good. A new owner has purchased it, changing the name to Caribbean Blues, and is in the process of doing renovations. They hope to open by the middle of the month with a limited menu. Later they will have a full menu. They are still planning on doing live music like Island Blues did.

Middle of November. I haven't heard an official date yet -- only that they wanted to be open before Thanksgiving.

It is official there is a new owner!!! and it will be up and running soon!!! The new owner is Colette of 6 Paq Dive Scuba! Congrats! and yeah!!!! so happy since this is one of our favorites!!!!!!

I just saw her Face Book Post! I wish I could be there in Nov. for her opening! It sounds amazing! She said she has done allot of work refurbishing things and there is going to be a spectacular opening! She is also basing 6Paq Scuba out of there! How convenient for us since we will be on that side of the Island!

Returned from a trip to Coral Bay on Sunday. Island Blues re-opened on Tuesday the 15th. On Friday they had a great party where Chris Carsel, Johnny B and many more played for hours. I think they plan on having the grand opening in December.

We've been there the last three nights, definitely open with shorter version of their menu. Things are coming together nicely and Collette and Aaron have been very friendly and welcoming, though busy!

Darn it all, didn't realize they were open last week; we drove by and there was a contractor truck out front and it looked like people working...
