Our first time to Vies was in June, and likewise we were back 3x, I see you found the "deluxe' beach chairs - with all or most of the straps
Does that happen to be your boat? Id love to rent something like that next trip

DH and I love Vie's beach too. That's exactly where we set up camp for the day. We get there early to get that spot and rarely find it 'crowded'.

Love Vie's and I think I stayed in the same villa! It's so quiet and lovely and her food is so yummy:)

Thanks for sharing your pics and mini-report. We've never spent time at Vies, but it looks nice. We just stopped by her shack one time for a pie of some sort that was really yummy. From the direction the beach is facing, it seems like there might not be much shade, except way under the sea grapes. Is that the case? I can't get much sun, so I need a beach with good shade to be able to spend the day.
I was also wondering if there is good snorkeling off the beach at Vies?

B&J....you are right...the sun shines on Vie's beach all day long and you do sort of have to burrow under the sea grapes!!! My husband requires a good amount of shade though, and he always does well there. We have had good luck with snorkeling there as well

Our family was at Vie's this July, unfortunately she was not. I think the drive out there is beautiful and you have to do it at least once. For us we have to go back now because we did not get to see her and sample her food I have been hearing about. I did think her beach was nice but somewhat rocky if you have bad feet. When we snorkeled we found many different fish we had never seen all week along with turtles.

Nope that's the fishermans boat in the pic walking towards me. He was netting silversides for his fishing trip. Talked to him for about a half hour nice guy.
Shade is a minimal get there early and grab one of the couple seagrapes on the beach.
Snorkeling was excellent on rightside and not bad on the left.
Actually got to meet Vie our first morning there, was so bummed when she told us she was closed for the off season.
