Monday on the island

i so want to break out in a few lines from Jimmy Buffett's Coconut Telegraph. But all the lines aren't dead and there is always some kind of juicy news.
Maho was a bit quieter yesterday. There will still a few tarpon and rays hanging out, but fewer bait fish. I think they have thinned the "herd". Enjoyable snorkel. We were able to see the reef fish that were there this time instead of millions of fish swarming us. Vis was a little bit less on the way out, so when those large tarpon cruised by, there was always a bit of "oh, really big fish".
Tried the Banana Deck for lunch, first, time for us. Quite enjoyable. Food was good and a nice breeze. Also first time using the parking lot down by the car ferry. Downtown was parked solid. Not a bad walk, just don't make the mistake of taking the really, really, really steep hill up into town. I needed a glass of water to go along with my Amstel.
Weather is still amazing. Tiny shower yesterday. Hopefully, it will hold through tomorrow, dinghy day!
