Haulover 2- best I have ever seen there- usually left side has beautiful coral but not tons of fish- I will never say that again!!! Holy Smokes!!!TONS!!!
back to Maho- and I am not exaggerating when I say there was a school of 50-70 tarpon off the shore in a feeding frenzy along with southern rays in so many silversides that it looked like a black cloud. I hope the video comes out because it was wild!!! So freaking wild!!
dinner at villa with Chet and Mrs Random- fun day!

Yeah for you!

The tarpon cruised back nod forth, parting the silversides and creating pathways that closed as the big fish passed. Standing waist deep, amazed at the feeding frenzy when 10 or12 tarpon would jump and thrash through the cloud of silversides.

OK.I have been to STJ many times but never to Haulover. Now it is on my list for my next trip. Where do I park and how do I get there?

keep going straight(haha) past Skinny Legs on Rte. Parking has gotten interesting and Augie will cover it more in the big TR but park on the side of the road.

How were the weeds getting in? When we were there 2 weeks ago, the seaweed and debris flosting on the top was so thick and out about 50 yards, that we passed on our favorite snorkle.

OK Eagleraylover, sound like a great trip so far.
I'll look for your TR. On St John you can never go straight (physically or mentally)-only forward!
