Hi everyone, I am on info overload right now. I've been searching for a "cheap" place to stay on St.John.
I have a few possibilities in the works. My problem is that somewhere along my search I found a place, cottage like, that was on Centerline road. In the ad it stated you parked on Centerline and took a trail in to the property. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Could someone lead me back to the ad? Or if someone knows of a place that is real cheap (100 a night) please let me know.
Thanks...

This isn't 100 per night, but it's a pretty good deal. I haven't stayed there, but I know it got a great review on Trip Advisor.

Thanks Everyone. None of these are what I was looking for, but all good leads. The place I was looking for said you parked on Centerline and took a trail in to a cabin type set up and it wasn't on one of the main web sites. I seem to think the background of the site was green. Possibly it's something that's no longer on the rental market.
Pia that place looks interesting. I always loved tree houses.

When are you planning to go? Big difference between in and out of season prices...

lprof I have stayed at Trinidad Charlie's before and wouldn't rule it out again. It was a great experience.
We are going Jan into Feb. I know, I know right in the middle of high season and I'm looking for 100 a night. It sounds Crazy I know. It's possible. I am very close to doing it this year. For 11 days of our trip we will be staying here.

We stayed here last year and absolutely loved it. It's not for everyone, but perfect for us. Marcia and John who own it are great and have another place on the same property that we stayed at as well.

They also have a charter boat business.
I am still working on where else we will be staying but am very close to a deal. I will let you know where, if your interested, when I do. We will be staying for a total of 17 nights, and right now it's looking like a total of $1800 for lodging.
Next task, Rental Jeep.
