First let me say THIS AINT EASY, trying to piece together the days that is…, All you guys that have created those detailed reports deserve a big THANKS!
If memory serves me correctly, I believe that night was a villa night, we hit starfish on the way back from the beach and stocked up on cheese, meats, crackers, stuffed olives, YUM – what a selection, I mix some Pina Coladas while other partake in some Dark and Stormys, somewhere in here came some Tequila as well, I make THE best margaritas (at least that’s how I advertise them!) no photos please!
Sooo… the next day we get a late start and hit Jakes for breakfast
My Angel

My Devil! - thoroughly enjoying his chocolate chip pancakes

Im a BIG fan of the Donkey Diner as well, unfortunately they were closed for the season
That night we hit Rhumblines for dinner, another favorite, great food – excellent drinks, we decide to call it an early evening , we need to catch a ferry in the morning!
This day we are heading to Jost Van Dyke, this will be our first time. We decided to take the ferry due to the fact the kids WILL not snorkel from a boat, WAY too many sea creatures out there! We catch the 8:30 ferry and head over to Jost, first stop – only stop, Soggy Dollar! FINALLY after 4 trips to STJ I’ve made it over to Jost and the world famous Soggy Dollar!

The kids had fun playing "diner" and building sand castles with their endless supply of Soggy Dollar cups- they built one BIG sandcastle by day’s end!
We met some cool folks during the day, threw the ball around, good fun!
My buddy Bill really seemed to be enjoying himself!

We actually did made a brief pit stop at Foxy’s on the way back to the ferry to indulge in some of that foxy’s firewater I’ve heard so much about(DAMN you KENNY CHESNEY!), while my little Guppy knocked back his new favorite beverage - TING!

We made what could be considered a mistake and picked up a bottle of firewater to take HOME!
It was gone by the time we made it to customs over on STJ! We had help drinking it on the ferry with some new friends we had met earlier over on Jost. (NOTE: US Customs agents are NOT amused when you try to declare your EMPTY bottles of booze) We all had big plans for that evening, we were all going to clean up and meet at Woodys “in an hour” (clean up for Woodys? Really?) … We did make it to Woodys- BUT, we never cleaned up… first we hit the Rum Shop by the ferry , ran in to the “ghost” and had a few more drinks with him over by the Beach Bar while we discussed the state of the economy- I love this man, we then stumbled to Woodys in search of our new friends- No Luck so we continue our stumble back to home base, I wonder if any of our new friends ever made it to Woodys?… OH… let me back up a little, so you don’t think I’m totally foolish, my wife and kids went home after leaving customs.
So after another day of sleeping in we made it to Gibney, another first for us, beautiful!

Our own private beach

There was one couple all the way to the right when we first arrived but they soon left and we were the only ones there for about an hour, it was awesome, my pictures tell me this was Aug 31st, the weather was amazing all week and the beaches empty, literally at times

A boy and his TING!

Anyone know what’s in this stuff? my boy was addicted to it! I should probably get a bottle and read the label

So – long for now Gibney beach…
