Sunday!
We headed out around 9am and returned the movies to the Marketplace. We picked up two magazines from Chelsea Drug Store, and arrived at Gibney around 9:30am.
We set up camp at the usual spot - right in front of the yellow Oppenheimer building.
A short while later, people started showing up. PARTY!!!!! We picked up our stuff and moved to the other end of Gibney. We LOVE reggae music, just not that LOUD. It was the perfect decibel level at the other end of Gibney.
I then proceeded to float in the water with my $1.50 hot pink float from Wal-Mart for THREE HOURS. Apparently my sunscreen washed away during the first 30 minutes since I was FRIED. I didn't realize how bad it was until later that evening.
Because I was red and burning, we packed up and headed to the Tap Room. First visit. We split a yummy bbq sandwich and potato skins. Yummy beer. While there, we were approached by the Ghost of Jost. He made up a poem with our names in it. Neat guy.
We headed back to the cottage where we read and watched movies and tv.
Unfortunately, because I was sunburned beyond recognition, we couldn't attend the Forum Beach Bar gathering! ARRRRGH! So frustrating!
Next year.....
