Hi Everyone -

Through my parish, I help to coordinate a collection drive and then send out care packages to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. We are planning to host our collection drive this weekend and next in memory of 9/11.

If you have a loved one, friend or neighbor who is serving overseas, I would be more than happy to add them to my list.

We typically send out snack items, batteries, socks, etc and this time we are asking people to write letters/cards to include in our packages.

I'm bumping this up because I can't believe that no one knows of a deserving man or woman overseas!! Would love to add more to our mailing list!

Tracy, I don't know of anyone overseas at all right now! Can I help by donating some things for the packages?

We are sending boxes out on 9/22 or 9/23 and I appreciate your offer to help. It probably wouldn't be worth the cost to send things to me at this point and we have received quite a few donated items - just a few to send them to though!!
