DFW Forumites- Fall Gathering Time!!

Hi all DFW forumites! Let's plan a gathering! How does sometime in September sound? I am pretty open rigt now- toss out some dates and lets see if we can make a plan. We need to catch up on everyone's trips!

We will be in Big D for the TX-OU game on October 8th. If we could get together with some of you then, that would be great.

That sounds awesome!!! The only night I could not is Sept. 10.....have to play for a wedding that night.

The Mrs. and I will try to make any date that you throw out as we don't want to miss another one of these, but if a Thursday night works well for everyone, we'd be for that as we'll probably be traveling or involved in some football-related activity almost every weekend this fall.
As always, thanks for organizing.

I'd do a Thursday evening if it'll get that crazy 54B there. He's a funny dude. I have no Saturday availability in Sept. anyway. Lots going on. Sunday evenings also work for me. LMK

I can definitely swig a Thursday- how about everyone else? And there is a chance jimg20 might be able to make it if we do it on Thursday, Oct 6th...... thoughts??
Only bad thing about a Thursday is the tough work day Friday after a few painkillers
not quite the same as rolling out to a beach....... but I'm sure this crowd can make do....

Looks like we will miss this one.
We will be out of town Sept. 12 - Oct. 15. Be sure & post pictures on the forum.

Wow Rhonda! That's a long time to be out of town! If you're going to STJ I'm going to scream!
Also wanted to throw out a Friday night, Sept. 9th maybe?? I don't know if I can wait till October!

Colleen, I wish we were going to STJ for that long. We are going to see my sister in Oregon. I am excited about the trip but am sad that we are not going to STJ this year. We might could make Sept. 9. Our grandson is playing Freshman football on Thurs. nights & playing in the band on Friday nights...

I am leaving town in the morning of Sept 10th (not exciting- just a 2 day quick trip), but I think I could do the 9th- then maybe we can go to a restaurant on Oct 6th?
Need to do one last check with Jim, but for now, who can make Sept 9th? My house (near the Tollway and Northwest Highway in Dallas)- maybe around 6:30 or 7 ish? Potluck and painkillers!
