Airfare booked for Feb.

Returning for Presidents week-and the HUGE bonus is...
we fly out of Syracuse instead of driving to JFK !!
one of my travel partners doesn't like the small planes...
we have always drove to NY.
flying to Atlanta > STT jets all the way !
2 families-4 "adults"? 2 boys 13/11

Hi there-
Congrats on not having to drive as far!
On the big planes, my husband is that way too-we had booked for November on Continental via jets then they made changes and switched to prop planes via San Juan-had to cancel and rebook.
can I ask what was your ticket price? Syracuse can be tough I know-I grew up outside there and my brother still lives in the area. If you live on the west side would Buffalo or Rochester be an option? We get some decent Buffalo prices -like 450 I'm thinking, inclusive.

kma27, we will probably be passing you at the airport. That will be a sad day for us as we are there Feb. 11-25. Enjoy the planning and the trip.

Vllanders, yes I imagine we will. You are staying 2 weeks - you are lucky!!
I know how excited we are when we are landing in STT and how unhappy, tired, broke and sunburned we are when we are going home - but loving it the whole time.
I've often wanted to stay longer than a week so last time and next time we are staying 10 days and that seens to work pretty good for us.

Will be flying out of SYR at that time also. Washington, then STT, then STJ.
