Speaking of mosquitoes...every time I see new peeps coming off of the ferry, lugging their suitcases, I say to DH...look New Blood coming to da island. And I guess I am correct in saying that.

Get the wrist/ankle bands. We used them last month. They work!

Those tropical waves are not looking too good for us come Monday!! Looks like we may be in for some rainy days....and lots of skeeters!

The skeeters generally follow about 2 weeks after the rain. Of course, if its been raining back then, you'll have skeeters now.

Today is our last day on island...today and yesterday rain was heavier and lasted longer but we still had sun and good beach days at jumbie and francis. today at Francis the no seems were pretty bad unless you were in the water. At our villa the Mosquitos and no seems were bad all week. Bracelets did not seem to help so we stuck with deep woods off and that seemed to work. Not a lot of wind near our villa in dever bay either which could be the issue. Today there is more wind and less bugs. At any rate don,t worry about the weather or the bugs...you will have a great time:)
