USVI-On-Line

A number of projects have been recently completed or continue to be under construction. Which is your favorite?

I limited the poll to public projects which is why Grande Bay, Sirenusa and Pond Bay are not included. I suppose I should have included the new parking lot, but didn't have a photo.

Emancipation Park, Cruz Bay


Pavilion, Big Maho Bay


Roundabout, Cruz Bay


Lifeguard Stand, Trunk Bay

All nice additions as far as I'm concerned, well maybe not the stands but that ones not a biggie to me.
Only problem is the more we modernize our little gem the more people will come. I want the beaches for just us forum peeps I had to vote for Maho cause that thing was an eyesore for such a beautiful beach and it will be nice when well ya know that urge hits ya all the sudden.

I guess maybe my answer will differ because I live here, but I think the Roundabout is awesome. I do not miss that screwy intersection at all and the roundabout helps traffic flow a lot easier and much more safely. And once they started the project, I think that the people who constructed it did an amazing job at keeping traffic going while they were working AND they finished on time (super rare thing in these parts!)

I have a hard time voting for the park. It just doesn't look finished to me (because it isn't ) And I liked that old building at Maho. I thought it had a ton of character. This is the first time seeing the lifeguard stand...and well...I'm not a fan of it.

Definitely the roundabout.

Voting for roundabout. The Maho thing looks nice but wish they had kept the original color
