Rain showers at Maho Bay Camps. But I did see my 1st turtle...from our tent. We also have 2 iguanas outside and a tent lizard.

I'm sorry, but I think octopuses are *the* coolest animals on earth right now. Seriously.

Happy Fourth of July from the island of St. John in the US Virgin Islands.

Awoke to the aroma of campfire and crackling sticks this morning. Couldn't get back to sleep, so decided to watch the sun come up. Caught a different view instead: drunk naked dude skinny-dipping and making fire 0_o. Not exactly what I had in mind LMAO!

Today's snorkeling tip: if you see a shark, chase after it. That is unless it is bigger than you.

Battery at 8%...low on outlets...s-l-o-w wi-fi...Ram's Head and Drunk Bay followed by Happy Hour at Skinny's.
July 10
Time to head out...excellent vacation. Next time we will share STJ with the girls. Nothing like swimming in a living aquarium and hiking in the tropics

Was going to complain about having to pass thru customs in a US territory and what a pain in the rear end the Philly Airport is...but no complaints. Home safe.
Seriously...smooth re-entry! Planning and a great support team help tons! Thanks to my in-laws for watching the devils and to C and kids for taking care of the Dharma chicks (& stinky cat too!) ♥ you!
