New "firsts" from our second trip to St John

My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon on St John. We were down from July 4-11th staying at Seawatch villa on Gifft Hill. This was our second trip to St John, having been down around the same time last year.
I haven't had time to write up a full trip report, but wanted to touch on a few "firsts" for us that we really enjoyed.
- Vie's beach and snack shack - very nice beach and great lunch food. My wife is a garlic addict and she loved the chicken. The conch fritters were excellent as well.
- Oppenheimer/Gibney beach - very nice beach with a great private feel.
- Candi's BBQ - I thought it was much better than Uncle Joe's.
- The small Sunday "market" across the street from Hercules Pate's. There was a woman there selling local food and I had the most delicious roti and rice with beans from her.
- P&P By The Sea - this wasn't a first, but they deserve top billing. Wonderful local food, the most tender conch I have ever put in my mouth, along with delicious side dishes.
Our only disappointment was going to Caneel one morning. The weather was iffy, so we decided to stay closer to town. Perhaps we expected too much, but it felt like being herded into the typical resort setting. We tried to walk down to the beach toward the left and find some shade, only to be approached by two staff members in a boat, telling us to move back to the main beach. At that point we packed and left, having only been there for less than 30 minutes.
