Does anyone have one? We came back Saturday from 9 days on the rock. Daughter off to Edisto Beach for a week and we are keeping the grandoggy. She is very particular about what she snacks on. They brought her favorite, Beggin Strips (nasty smell) but what do I know? So, Greyhoundmom has been to the fabulous StJohnimals Store in Cruz Bay (we are with people who have major dog issues!). I didn't go in to buy anything but damn what a neat store! So, I'm looking at the 12 oz. plastic jar of good dog treats in the cute cookie cutter shapes of star fish, bones, squares and flowers. Thinking, surely she'll love these! Pretty ribbons around the top of the container...$11.50 goes into my carry-on. Daughter dear brings them back to my house along with a bag of Beggin Strips (which she loves). Turns her nose up at the expensive St. Johnaminals treats.

So,to make a long story longer, I'm cutting up fresh peaches to make a cobbler...I have all the juice and pull out the dog treats, coat one in peach juice and she loves it! I can't find anything on the web, would it be bad to coat these in peach juice, zip lock and refigerate (which I've done). Don't want to give them to her if is bad for her???? Any thoughts? :?

I don't know shitzus, but my pugs are FREAKS for blueberries. They love carrots, too. I am no expert but I don't think the peach juice will harm her. Better than a hot dog!

Never heard/read anything bad about peaches. But, no grapes, onions or avacados for the fuzzy muzzles. And, no avacados for the birds. Laura
