Credit cards in BVI?

Quick help please....we are on island now, headed to JVD in the morning for our boat trip. We are running a little low on cash, and wondering about credit card use in the BVI. Is it safe? And do places like Foxy's and Soggy accept credit cards? We can get by with what we have if need be, but would like to save it for later. Thanks for any advice you can offer us. We are having a wonderful time!

You should be fine with either Mastercard or Visa.

I used my VISA at Soper's Hole on Tortola to make purchases with no problem. Does your credit card company know you're in the Virgin Islands? It might be worth a call to them before you hit JVD, if not.
Come to think of it, I also used my VISA at the Soggy Dollar to buy t-shirts & hats. That was the easiest transaction ever!
