We are planning our next trip but it is our first visit with our twin boys who will be 2 1/2 at the time of the trip. We are totally Coral Bay people having stayed up on Calabash Boom, Ajax Peak and in the area high above the Aqua Bistro complex. Trying to find a villa in high season for under $4k for us that is good for little kids. Not sure if we need a pool at that age? They are swimmers already so they do love water but I wonder if a pool is more of a safety headache than its worth? A hot tub would be great for hubby and I after they go to bed. Thanks for all your help, we found our last 3 villas through this forum and loved them all. Also, we do not mind being out closer to the East End or the area by Salt Pond.

we stayed at Bay House, above Aqua Bistro when our kids were......probably 3 and 5. I liked that the pool was not "right outside the bedroom doors" and it was on it's own level. I think it was 2100 in the low season...

I am a huge fan of Monkey no climb villa. This villa is high on Bordeaux Mountain and the views are AMAZING!! We took our then four year old and he stayed in the other King bedroom. A set of twins would definitely be comfortable in the other room. There isn't a pool but the hot tub is so awesome and again the views amazing. PM me if you have any other questions. The owner is great and a pleasure to work with.

We stayed at Rhumb Runners 2 years ago and loved it. It's reasonably priced. The 2 bedrooms are both on the 2nd floor with an interior staircase. Each has an attached bathroom. (There is an additional half bath on the first floor.) It has a pool but no hot tub. The pool is off the deck that wraps around 2 sides of the first floor, and children would be able to access it if they can open the sliders to the deck. I don't remember a gate for the pool area but it's worth checking with the owners. (You can find it on VRBO.) It's up the road from Crabby's in Coral Bay. Incredible views.

Fun and Contentment also has 2 interior bedrooms, plus hot tub and pool. The pool is off a deck that goes in front of both bedrooms, but it looks from the floor plan like you could keep the deck door from the kids' room locked; then they'd have to walk through the LR or other BR to get out to the deck. Floor plan here (scroll down): http://www.funandcontentment.com/information.shtml

I haven't checked the child policy of these villas since our kids are older. You might give Windspree a call - they specialize in Coral Bay and could recommend a child-friendly villa.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! A couple of follow up questions. How is the noise at Bay House? Is it really close to other houses and the stores/restaurants below? Just a little concerned about privacy-not nudity level privacy, but still feeling seperate from other people. Where exactly is Fun and Contentment, I think I have seen it-sort of half way up the hill? Doesnt look it has too many neighbors?

We stayed at F and C late last year. Nice house, pool jacuzzi. Drive up was intresting but not bad at all. We could not see the house above although we could hear voices. Nice view of CB and close to what we like...East End. Pool did not get used as it rained every day we were there...last year during the bad rains :(

Good luck..

Bay House worked well for us. The two bedrooms are very close to each other.
