Hot Wings' First Trip to VI

We took our 16 year-old granddaughter to the VI for her first trip. She is between her junior and senior years of high school. Hot Wings is her alter ego when she plays the school's mascot - a cardinal - at school events.

She is no rookie to flying, so that was nothing new. Her first reaction to STT was, "It's so hot!" We rode with Rachel the first time and caught the 3 pm out of Red Hook. We checked in at Luna Vista and headed to Maho. There we had several firsts. We saw a 6 foot wide Eagle Ray very close to the beach on the right. HW saw her first sea star and lots of conches. Whe we arrived there was a photo shoot going on in the center of the beach with a model and two other women photographing her. When we came out of the water at dusk the model was still working, but now she was topless. We've seen lots of photo shoots but that is the first one we saw like that.

Diana did very well with entering and exiting hte water and finning was no problem at all. Thank you doctors and PTs.

We followed that with a very good dinner at the Fish Trap and then lots of sleep.

The weather is here, wish you were beautiful.

If you are really hurting for chargers I may just need to book a flight right now and bring them down to you!!! If only I could....

great start- I'm sure Hot Wings is going to LOVE it- have fun!

I am sure that topless is only not allowed if soemone is there to complain. There's plenty of room on the island ,SOonthebeach. Come on down. We bought standard AA batteries at the lumber yard. We'll make do with that.

Thanks
