Can't Get Spice Cam!

I clicked on the Spice Cam site this a.m. and got a page that says the site cannot be found! It said I either typed it in wrong (NO, I have it under favorites and always just click and it comes up) or the site is no longer valid. WHAT !
Since this happened right after Ruth did her "Ruth Cam" on the park renovations, it makes me wonder.
Did the "VI Mob"

kidnap our Ruth, unplug the Spice Cam or is it just my old computer?
Going through withdrawls, need my STJ fix...HELP!

I thought it might be my computer too. I'm relieved that it's not, but don't know why we can't get the cam.
The other cams are working.

Looks like Ben Chill needs to head back down to fix up the spice cam again!! (I think he sets it up to fail just so he *has to* go down to repair it regularly. Heck, that's what I would do!)

I get the message that the server cannot be accessed. I guess it ie either off line or broken. I don't know what server the web cam uses.......Ben? Maybe a phone call to the server keepers can get it back on line.

Well, the server responds to traceroutes and pings... looks like software.

I'm guessing the outage might be related to the "roaming" power outages that WAPA has been doing. Seems electricity generation is very difficult these days for them. I wonder how much, if any, the solar farm at the Airport is going to help. And they are currently fighting the Windmill folks on St. Thomas too.
And according to Ruth, Ben was just there and he is frequently on island or may be living there. But I think she said a company was handling the web cam stuff now. Ruth??

Thanks Rick. Where did you get the IP address of the server to ping it? Just curious. You sound like an IT guy. Oh well, have another beer and ping it again.

Was back for me this AM... not the best weather, but I have the same here, so I'll choose STJ!

Edited to say
"Thanks, Ben", for getting us up and running for the big count... so glad you have learned to read my mind!
And...
"Thanks, Rick", I have no idea what "ping" means but appreciate your sharing... the traceroutes I get!

Of course, Rick's right. Server stopped running any page with php. Had to restore an old page that didn't use php to get it up temporarily. Didn't want anyone to miss the Big 5 Million coming up.
