Would love some Villa Recommendations PLEASE!

For years I have wanted to book Splendore. For one reason or another, it has never been available. Next year is no exception. The owners (how dare they LOL) will be enjoing her charms for a month during the time we need to travel (End of June/1st of July 2012).

I really thought this year would work out and stupidly had my heart set on it. Now of course nothing seems to be calling to me. I've been pouring over substitute villas to no avail.

I think it might be helpful for me to have some recommendations from the forum peeps...so alas, here I am pleading my case.

Requirements:

3 Bedrooms (or 2+Loft)
WARM Pool (Son's request)
Hot Tub (Daugher's request)
Ambience
Views
$3500 Limit if Possible

Any of your faves that might fit the bill? Would really appreciate some insight! Need to book so my ticker quits going the the wrong way! Thanks!

Chris, do you have a preference on area?

We just came back from Rendezvous by the Sea. No hot tub, but it was truly wonderful. The really big screened deck (in addition to the pool deck and lower deck) made life good. We were able to sit and have dinner without mosquitoes (and believe me they were out in force in rainy May). The porch was also perfect on rainy days. It's close to town and a fairly easy drive.
3 bedrooms and within your budget.

These are the same people who run Garden by the Sea B&B. I dealt mostly with Nancy and she was terrific.

No area preference...although I do prefer the views from a little higher rather than lower.

Have you looked at Villa tiffany?--the lower bedroom isn't really equal to the other two, but the view is INSANE and it has a pool and hot tub--
amarilla villa also fits the bill

Consider Sol Inclination in Estate Fish Bay. You would have the main house + the guest house. Main house is above the pool deck and guest house just below. Views are incredible. Road to the house is steep but paved all the way. 10-15 mins to Cruz Bay. Property Manager Marc Miller of James M Miller Properties was a pleasure to work with. He also manages Villa Tiffany. Casa Bueno is yet another one to consider.

www.andantebythesea.com will fill all your requirements. Stayed there last October, place is great! We always use www.vivacations.com but you can go direct through the owner as well. Good luck with your search

Randy in MD -
Can you tell me a little more about Amarilla Villa? How private is it? (Clothing optional?) Was the pool warm? was there road noise? How was the road getting to it?

It looks really nice. THANK YOU!

Need2GetAway... Amarilla Villa is on a hillside above Miss Lucy's. There is one other villa nearby and below a small ridge but the deck and pool area would be unseen by anyone at that home. So, yes... Definitely C.O. The pool is heated! The lower part of the road up is dirt and gravel but easy to navigate. As you start up the steeper part of the hill the road is paved all the way to the house. It's pretty high above the road so there is no road noise except you may hear the occasional bus heading to and from Salt Pond. The owners live at the home for half the year and it's extremely well maintained.
