Dependable Car Rental

Has anyone rented a Suzuki Grand Vitara from Dependable on St. Thomas? If so, was it comfortable, did you have a lot of room. Did it handle the switch-backs easily? Thanks.

I've rented them often, and always from Dependable... Comfortable, lots of room, easy to handle, and it will get you everywhere you want to go... Good choice...

Yes I have rented one. And a Grand Vitara is fine on STJ. I would ask how many people?

Puddle, only 4 people, but I am 6' 5" tall and wanted to make sure the new Grand Vitara is big enough for me. 
I heard they used to be small until a couple of years ago, when they upgraded the vehicle and made it larger.

At 6'5" you will not have a problem. The newer body style Grand Vitara is a nice SUV. The older XL7 will still work fine, but is smaller. I think the older one is 2005 and before. I have driven both on STJ. The older one will be tight with luggage for four. I have a 6'6" friend who rented an older XL7. He did fine as long as he was in the front seat.
