We're still wrestling with dates. Anyone care to share when your district's spring break is for 2012? Here in Atlanta, it's the first full week of April. I'm particularly interested in when Spring Break is for the big Northeast districts.

In Massachusetts it is the week of April 15th (Sun).....16-20th!

IN NYC and westchester county and I would presume long island and rockland, dutchess counties the break is from april 6-15th
I would presume that this tracks with New Jersey as well
a good rule of thumb for figuring out NY metro area spring breaks is to look when passover is--that pretty much captures it almost always.

In MA....it is always the week of Patriot's Day (Monday)....it's a perk sometimes because it is usually AFTER everyone elses...AND....low season begins! Yahooo!

we're planning something with my niece (not STJ) next March since she will have a break from college. was wondering how that aligned with lower schools Spring Breaks so thanks for asking this

Rochester NY -- April 15-22
We also have a break February 19-26

(This is schools K-12, not colleges.)

We're considering going over spring break next year. I just hope it's not too crowded. Ours is the first week in April (that's Fayette County (Lexington KY), not college spring break) I think the college's are about a month earlier.

You can usually count on spring break to be the last week before low season rates start! I think the St. John rental agencies try to catch the spring break travelers as part of the high season rates

here it is always the third full week in March

Here in the Northeast private school vacation is March 11-26.

Katie - Is that private school K-12 or college? Our private K-12 schools break the same time as publics.

NJ's - based on Rutgers & Montclair is March 10-18th.
