Just went to Krogers and got gas for 3.189 per gallon. The sign read 3.489 p/g. What the attendant told me was, for every $100 in points you get .10 cents off. So, 100 - 199 = .10, 200 - 299 = .20 and 300 - 399 = .30 cents off. He is not sure how long the special will go on.
Not sure if this is in your area as well...but it is in my town in Ky...good luck!!

This has been the case in Central IL for quite a while at certain gas stations.

I understand they have been doing this in Tennessee for sometime also. Just began June 1 in Kentucky. Looks like it might be a "permanent" thing. As I understand it, with 1,000 points you can get $1.00 off per gallon. Just looked at my most recent receipt today and I have 2,170 points, BUT, i just filled up on the 31st.

Glad to see others getting discounts as well. Any discount at the pump is good, considering we've been getting a gouging for so long.

We have a thing called "fuel perks" through Roundy's in Wisconsin and BP. For every $50.00 you spend in the grocery store you get 5 cents off per gallon (it used to be 10 cents). Anywhoooo, ya, with a full house home for the summer and all of the food we buy for the teens, we rack up "fuel perks" pretty quickly.
