Hello Michigan!! Just booked next years Spring Trip and thought I'd pass along what is good air from this part of the country.

Feb 13 - 24,2008 $420 with taxes from Detroit through Miami. One Stop! on the way down. Way home is the normal Michigan (2 stop), this time it is (STT-SJU-Texas-DTW)

We just got back from our last trip Feb. 23 and have decided not to wait till the fall to book our next trip at a much higher air fare rate. That is the normal program for us past 6 years.... Here is how it normally goes. Take trip in the Spring and then wait to long to book next trip and Air gets higher and higher and you end up booking anyways in the fall for next spring ... cause you can not help it. Cause at the end of the day your a St. John junkie..... Guess I've just come to terms that I have a White Beach, Blue Water addiction......!!
Forum do I need Help ?

Good day to eveyone.

Don't know of any form of 'help' that works except planning the next trip. Because we depart out of Grand Rapids on a commuter American Eagle flight and there are sooo few seats available on FF miles we book 331 days out. We're now down to 53 days and counting. That's a looooong countdown but it gets us through this seemingly endless winter.

Rob -

No help is needed - this is normal. At least on this forum - we are all in the same position! Congrats on the good rates.

You are lucky ! In Michigan, DTW and GRR are about the only two places you can leave and get home in one day.
(unless you want a very late arrival, and early departure)
For those of us in Northern Michigan, it becomes a two day affair going and coming home. Not fun...but going to STJ is worth it :)

Shoot, half the time I've traveled home from St John to Michigan I ended up spending a night in Chicago due to missing the last flight out of the day. You never know if you're actually going to make it home the right day or not.
