Jorge Alarm Clock

Living 2 miles from the George H. Bush Center for National Intelligence, you never know what kind of characters might be trolling through the neighborhood. This morning it was Jorge and Barbara!

Jorge brought Barbara up to the temple of consumerism, Tyson Corner Virginia, so that he could go to the Speedo store and try on their new line of racing thongs. Well, no Speedos before 10AM, so they came by our house this morning.

So, what do you do at 8:30 on a fine Saturday morning once the dogs walked and the kids are fed? Beer tasting! I forced some homebrew into Jorge and we chatted about life and St. John. Wow, what a great way to start the weekend.

Hopefully they'll stop by again and model Jorge's new thong buys? Just to make certain that Jorge has all of the advantages possible, I gave a him bottle of our 2004 West Indian Viagra, a Foreign Extra Stout. Strength!

Cheers, RickG

Rick ... Did you make Jorge some of your famous buttermilk pancakes? Speaking of your pancakes, I check your website on a weekly basis waiting for your recipe section  that you have promised
Have a good weekend!

Thanks for the mug shot. We'll be in St John the same time as RickG and we are leaving when Jorge comes in. We are doing a waveby at the airport. Now if you guys have speedos on, I won't recognize you.

Impressive beer taps. We just have the one, usually full of Old Dominion Ale. I don't think either of you will be on St John when we are so I won't see the Speedos, thank goodness. BTW and OT, we went to Vintage 50 last night. It was quite good.

Man, Rick, I was over on your side of the river this morning. I would've liked to have had some of that breakfast of champions too.
I was over in Reston watching my neighbors compete in the mid Atlantic tree climbing competition for arborist. The neighbors are married, both are arborists, working for different companies. She won the woman's division and by doing so will compete in the internationals in Hawaii, all expenses paid for her and her spouse.

Great picture of both you guys! But this forum is bad for me! I was watching Opray the other day about people and their addictions. Evedentually there are "triggers" that make addicts too weak to resist their problem. So I see you two in front of the beer tap at 9:00 this morning and I've wanted a beer ever since. It's almost 3:00. I gave up.
