O.k. we are just about done with these trip reports!May 8th.I planned on spending my last full day on the north shore. So by 7:00 a.m I was on the road to Hawksnest.I noticed that the waves coming in were on the rough side.I got in and swam over to Gibney.Walked the whole beach entered in the water @ Oppenheimer and snorked around the point almost to Denis.I found a little private beach somewhere along the way.I returned to Oppenheimer and walked backed the the cottages.I met a couple staying there and talked to them a bit. They loved the place, and I have to agree with them,it's very nice there.I walked a little more and stopped at the old Gibney stone house.{Ellinor Gibney lives there I think.}I just love the house and the setting.Enchanted i'd say.The flowers flowing over the cement urns, the rock walls w/ arches.Ahh what i'd give to stay there! After my drooling episode I returned to the water heading off Hawksnest. The water at this point was tossing me about and I was ready to get out.I guess north shore is to rough for me.Off to Peach Hill for the view then to the beach near by{that's all I'm going to say about "that beach" It was rough there too!I visited Jumbie next, then off to the east end.Yawzi pt.I snorkeled most of the point.Interesting snorkel, deep areas, big rocks ,and coral.Later I returned to Maho Camps for my final snorkel..Yes Little to Big Maho. The water was not very clear and a bit choppy.I saw a Nurse shark,French and Queen Angelfish again.Around 5:00 I went in to Cruz Bay for the gathering.Nice to see all of my 'family"Here's a pic from Caneel Bay day's beforeImage

Ooops!!
