Where's the sun -need everyone to cross fingers for burn off

Sunny and beautiful on the day we arrived and for two days after, but today, ever so cloudy. Finally got my trade winds, but at what cost? Could use a little help hoping some sun will appear later today, perhaps around sunset. Getting married in the rain isn't so bad, but it ruins all the images we had of standing in front of a beautiful sunset on St. John. One can't plan for the weather, but one can hope for it. Charlotte Amalie weather site says mostly sunny today - but not from where I sit off of Maria's Bluff. I know most people on this forum are happy and reporting all good things - and I want to be one of those people, but so need a little sunshine.
It rained most of April and a good portion of May where we live, the sun has been missing for a long time. I know the risk of rain this time of year is high in St. John, but so many said, often rain is predicted and sunshine prevails. So if anyone has a little in with mother nature - tell her to send a little sun our way, especially for today, but perhaps for a few more days. Its our first trip to St. John and would like to remember it as one where we enjoyed the adventures, not stood in our villa watching the grey skies go by.
Cheers!
