Another forum prayer request!

My dad is having surgery today after finding Melanoma in a biopsy a couple weeks ago. They will be removing a larger area on his back and 2-4 lymph nodes. He isn't telling very many people, but at least I can ask on here!
Please pray that it was caught early and that the surgery goes well. J and I may not be going to St. John in July because of the adoption, but we sure hope my parents still get to take the trip for their 37th anniversary!

I really hope all goes well and they get it all in one shot and it was caught early enough so he doesn't have to worry about it again!

Nic, prayers going out for your Dad this evening. Cancer is a scary thing. I had a big scare in January, surgery, no lymph node involvement, followed by six weeks of radiation. It puts a new perspective on life and especially for the people that love us.
Thinking good thoughts for your Dad. Whatever the outcome, your family is everything to him and to each other.
