I'm a new poster on the forum, but I've been a lurker off and on for probably five years. Like many, my first visit to STJ was on a cruise excursion and I've been hooked ever since (hooked on STJ, not a fan of cruises).

Been to The Rock a couple of times since then, but never for any amount of time. Three weeks from today we're headed to STJ for a week and I can't wait! Finally taking a real honeymoon and will be on-island for our second anniversary.

We're actually staying for a couple of days at the Sandcastle on JVD, then headed to Chocolate Hole for seven days.

Thanks to everyone for all of your recommendations, suggestions, and for sharing your experiences. I feel like I know you all. I'll be certain to write a trip report when we return.

Sounds like the perfect plan for a 2nd anniversary trip. Have you been to Sandcastle prior to this trip?
