Ruth made me leave the Grateful Shed yesterday for Happy Hour. Went to Fatty Crab. Although I'm not a food critic, I have to say we had every appetizer on the menu and they were fantastic. The staff Jenny, Dave, Mugsy and the bartender (sorry forget his name) were all as friendly and knowledgeable as could be. I definitely will go back there. It's a very cool concept and the prices are great. I can't wait to try the dinner menu. Everyone's talking about the short ribs.

Hi Ron! John and I really liked Fatty Crab also when we ate there in January. We had a chicken and coconut rice dish off the dinner menu that was really delicious. I especially appreciate that the dishes are meant to be shared. We are hoping to eat there again in August--unless they are closed for off season of course.

So glad you and Ruth enjoyed an evening out. I hope to try FC when we visit. But of course they could be closed which will only mean I need to return. Hmmmmm, wonder which I should hope for!

Great suggestion! It is walking distance from Cruz Views where we will be so we can stumble up the hill, and I like the idea of sharing dishes! What is their happy hr. deal Ron?
