Has anyone stayed in this villa recently? We are 4 couples about to put a deposit on it for a January trip and would like to hear from anyone who's stayed there. Especially interested in learning any negatives.

Thanks so much for the links. I had already found those but was hoping to hear from someone who possibly stayed there this year. I appreciate your help.

De-lurking...
Although it wasn't this year, we were there for 9 days at the beginning of August last fall for our oldest daughter's wedding. It was our 5th visit to St. John, but the first for the rest of the family.
We enjoyed every minute at Eden's Whim and it was a pleasure working with Mark and the crew at Seaview Homes. The home is furnished extremely well and nicely taken care of, the pictures on the website are accurate. It's easy to get to and the drive / parking are easy to negotiate. Great pool/spa and deck area, and the landscaping is lovely.
I agree whole heartedly with the reviews posted above, but with a couple of exceptions:
As a group of four couples, you should be aware that the bedrooms aren't really "equal". The master is of course very nice. The two others in the main house and the upper bedroom of the sleeping "pod" are also quite nice, but not as "lavish" nor large as the master. The bedroom in the lower level of the pod is perfectly acceptable, but probably the least preferred of the five, if for no other reasaon than accessability.
The bedrooms all have AC, and it works well. The rest of the house doesn't have AC, although the living/dining area opens up nicely to the breezes. The kitchen did get quite hot during the day, but afterall it was August...I doubt that it would be a problem in January. (Be sure to have them show you how the skylights open and close.)
Minor point...the gas grill was kind of a pain to cook on, but I suppose I'm spoiled by the unit we have at home.
That's it! I can't think of any reason we wouldn't jump at the chance to stay at Eden's Whim again. (I'm sure they've replaced the blender we literally ran to death while we were there!)
Hope this was helpful...it truly is a wonderful villa...I'm sure you'll have a great time!

SoggyDog, thank you. That's exactly the detail I was looking for. You should write a review for the villa review section since there are no recent ones.
This will be our 5th trip as well. We have travelled with one of the other couples the last four years. Last year, a third couple joined us and had such a great time that they wanted to include couple # four. The fourth couple was last on St. John when they honeymooned at Caneel 50 years ago! It's been a struggle to find a four-bedroom house with equal bedrooms that also met our other requirements. Eden's Whim has so much else that were "musts" for us, especially the location, that all were willing to compromise on the bedrooms. Everyone reviewed the photos and voted Eden's Whim as their first choice. Because I did the majority of the work on the search, I get first pick of the bedrooms! Very glad to hear that the driveway is easy. Thanks again.
