Depature Day....

Up and at 'em as usual this beautiful Saturday morning. We had last minute packing to do and a car ferry to catch!! If there is one thing Mr. Fins and I don't do when travelling is push the time envelope. We always leave ourselves plenty of time at the airport so we are not any more stressed than we already are travelling with 3 small boys!!! So we take the 9:00 car ferry and have plenty of time to kill on STT. We do one last fill up of the gas tank and then stop at the playground just before the airport. For those travelling with little ones,this place is awesome. It has a bathroom and just enough playground equipment to keep them entertained for a little while at least. If you're so inclined they also have picnic tables for a snack or lunch. You can also see planes taking off right before your eyes so it really does provide lots of entertainment!!

Now it was time to head to the airport and just as planned, Amalie was waiting there for us with a spot just outside the door. Magdalena had some time to kill so she helped us with our bags and waited in the check in line with us and we had a very enjoyable chat. It was so nice to visit with her and also to have another set of hands to help with the car seats!!
The best $20 dollars we spent on this vacation was for the porter! We even had our own customs area to check in through..this process was flawless. After checking in we had lunch and waited ever so patiently for our flight to Boston.. Another year and a whole lot of memories...
