So here we are, at the dreaded end of our stay. So sad to see this day come but are determined to make the most out of it!! So, another beautiful day at Maho one last time.

I mentioned previously that Flat Stanley was a nice addition to our trip. He forced us to do things that we just don't normally do. For instance, in the previous 3 visits to the island, we never stopped at the overlooks to take a photo op. I know, crazy but we pass by them on the way to the beach and don't want to miss out on the perfect parking spot and by the time we leave, the Fins are spent and don't want to take another minute getting to the villa. Well,Flat Stanley needed a photo so we stopped this time

The weather was absolutely perfect for our last day and the boys did not waste anytime getting to work. This time they ensued the help of the master engineer to help with the sand castles

I know, I know, I was so close to finishing this book and I couldn't put it down. This is the only time all year I read and I am able to finish 3 books!! Now that is vacation
It's amazing how much fun one can have with a simple pail...

You get the picture of how our day went, it was perfet! The Fins had really enjoyed themseles on this vacation and when I sit back and ask myself if we are crazy to do this every year I get a photo like this that says: " This is Priceless"

We headed back to the villa for one last lunch and one last happy hour and to capture this moment, I finally tried the timing feature on the camera. So here we are enjoying one last Island Summer until next year!!!oops I mean Novemeber

After naps we were off to Skinny's for our "last supper" We just love it at Skinny's-definitely one of our favs!!

Then it was back to the villa for some down time and preparation for our departure tomorrow

You know, still repeating myself...cute boys!! And great mom and dad for giving them this every year!!

Thanks for the wonderful reports. Loved keeping up with your family day by day. The boys are adorable, especially the one with the Red Sox hat. Skinny Legs is one of my favorite places too.
Enjoy your trip in November. I'm sure the boys will be disappointed that they are not going.
How did you ever carry all that construction equipment?

Thanks guys!! Silverheels-they carry it on themselves. They are in charge of their own carry on and what goes in it and that is what they choose
