My brother is getting ready to leave St. John this morning (sad day for him!) and called to question me about the store to purchase rum at Red Hook. I remember some posts a while back saying there was a store in the Red Hook terminal to purchase bottles of rum and that the prices were pretty good. Does anyone know if it is still there? And where exactly it is located?

I don't remember seeing a store last year, but maybe that's because we were at the Red Hook terminal bar )

He can grab the bottles right at the airport where the baggage claim is. They'll box them for him.

There is now a store inside security at STT. If you buy there you can carry it on the plane with you.

There's a very nice liquor store inside the STT waiting area.

Marina Mkt. across the street has a good booze selection - not sure if it is much cheaper than any STJ stores though.
The wine store in the same lot has some excellent wine prices.
