Enjoying your hiking video diaries...speaking from some experience (hiked Reef and over to Lameshur), I tip my hat to your fitness and know when you're hiking STJ you're almost always either going straight up or straight down (in a toaster oven).
I'm assuming you've been to trailbandit.org, but if not, you'd definitely appreciate that guy's efforts.
Thanks again for posting the videos.

Our "must stop" on the L'Esperance Trail is the one and only Baobab tree on the island. It's a little tricky to find, but that - of course - is half the fun. Another great video installment. Nearly as good as being there. Thanks so much!

Did you notice a bench that's been installed at the L'Esperance trailhead? It is in memory of Don Adams, a VI Park Ranger who lived on St John with his family in the 70's. The foundation of their former home is at the trailhead - the house was blown away in a hurricane and now there is a deck built on top of the foundation.

Thanks for the info about the Ranger and the bench. We wonder why it was in the state that it was in.
