Inspired by the Camera threads...Fogged up Lens?

In the morning several times I would wake up, grab my camera and go to shoot some pics and my lens would be fogged up. So I'd go into the bathroom and put the blow dryer on it for a second.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I loved the pellet packet underwater housing trick!

Are you keeping your camera in Ac that would cause it by being colder then the dew point.

Yes, it probably was on the desk in the bedrooms downstairs where we had the A/C running all night.

At night, keep it in the non-a/c part of the house or let it sit outside for a bit before you start shooting.

I just don't run the a/c in the bedroom. It keeps me from sleeping too late.

I thought about it after I sent it and figured "Oh Well"!

When I am sleeping I like a lot of covers and for it to be cold in the room. Lucky for me Hubby does too. Our room on our last visit had condensation on the windows all the time! After a shower I hate to be hot and humid too so we kept it on all day! I kept the guilt down by knowing that it was only one room in the entire house that cold!
