Park Construction

Hello to all out there. Can anyone give an update on how the contstruction is coming along at the park by the ferry dock? It might have been mentioned in a post somewhere or a trip report and I just missed it. I cant get the search option to work, could be operator error too. Thanks for the info.

S l o w a lot of noise but so far very little of anything except a few small 2' high rock walls.

Did Sheila ever find a temporary home for her "pot?" Must...have...Sheila's...
When is the construction scheduled to be complete, anyway? I'll be there in October. Will it be done by then?

Why do construction projects like this take so long on the islands? I'm not being critical, but just curious.
And, how noisy is it? I'll be staying at Grande Bay in July and have friends that will be there in May.

In other words, there aren't many days that work is actually takes place? Is it just 'the way of the islands' sort of thing?
