I am staying at Villa Bijou in GCB in June. What is the situation with beach access/use at the Westin for non-guests? Thanks!

Is there a reason you want to go to the beach at the Westin? It is man-made and not worth wasting a day when you could be at a fantastic beach on the north shore.

I am guessing Great Cruz is convenient- maybe a walk away. As far as I know all beaches are open to the public- you are free to go and enjoy. The Westin can restrict access to it's beach chairs and pool chairs though. However, we have gone a few times when we were not staying there and have always found a chair to sit in and have not been asked to move. They are happy to take our cash/credit at the pool bar
But definitely get to the North Shore beaches too!!

We stayed at Villa Bijou three years ago, it is gorgeous! Lisa is great to rent from. Seriously, compared to the National Park beaches, the Westin beach is awful, don't waste your time there. If there is no other choice, you can park at the Westin lot and just walk to the beach. We stayed at the Westin our first trip but always spent our days at the National Park.

Villa Bijou is a great house. I wouldn't worry about access to the Westin beach---its really not where you want to be.

I have wanted to stay at Villa Bijou..
Any negatives? Is the view great and does the pool get enough sun?
Hey, I was just checking the site and it looks like they took off the availability calendar? I like to look at see what dates are open, not have to send a specific date. Do you know where there is a current availability calendar for Bijou?
