Went to Fatty Crab Brunch today and it was excellent! Relaxed atmosphere, nice breeze (it is very warm here, 89 today), For people who are driving into town, parking is $5 next door. Sunday Brunch is served until 4 pm

They have a drink special if you order an entree you get 2 of their "brunch drinks for $8. I had the Bloody Mary, huge strong and spicy and for my second drink I ordered the Watermelon Mimosa. My husband had beer.

For brunch I had the poached eggs on sour dough toast with a curry hollandaise, it came with a large helping of peeky toe crab salad. $18. What made this dish expensive was the very large side of crab salad and it was delicious!!

My husband loved the Brioche French Toast that they dip in a coconut milk batter served with smoked maple blackstrap syrup $12. He ordered a side of house made thick cut bacon, $5. enough for 2 people. The bacon was fabulous!!!

This was our first time at Fatty Crab and we will definitely be back soon!!!

It is where "Hines" used to be just past the police station up the hill and across from the field.

CypressGirl .... Maybe a good spot for Easter Brunch???

Is Fatty Crab a chain restaurant ?? Sounds Corporate?
Maybe a sign of much needed new recognizable name restaurants to come?

I believe there are two other locations in NYC In the West Village and on the Upper West Side. My son lives in Brooklyn and told me these are great restaurants and that one was opening on St. John. That brunch sounds delicious! Looked up the web site it's www.fattycrab.com
