I checked the vrbo.com site too- you can contact the owners through this website and ask them directly if they will give any discounts.

I ended up getting a great deal on a villa but not until about 3 weeks before. When it gets that close they are much more willing to lower the price

I don't know how soon u plan on going but I watched the prices for a few months before we booked. Definately worth the wait. Some people would be scared to do that but from watching early I saw that there were plenty of vacant villas to choose from.

I second the vrbo.com idea. Some owners will discount weeks with just an inquiry if they have a open week approaching, but don't be afraid to ask about any discounts or if thats their best price, you might be surprised! Good Luck
